- Memory Comments: This system supports 1.5V DDR3 and 1.35V Low-Voltage DDR3 memory. When mixing DIMMs of different voltages, system runs memory at 1.5V. Modules must be ordered and installed in pairs for Dual Channel mode or Modules must be ordered and installed in group of four For Quad Channel mode. Due to chipset limitations, DDR3 Quad Rank memory will operate at 1066MHz in One-DIMM-per-Channel. Installing Quad Rank modules in Two-DIMM-per-Channel will operate at 800MHz. This system supports either Registered ECC or Unbuffered ECC memory. Mixing Registered ECC and Unbuffered ECC modules is not supported. Any configuration up to 512GB can be reached using any combination of 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB Registered modules.
