- Memory Comments: Modules must be ordered and installed in pairs or ordered and installed in groups of four for Quad Channel mode. This system supports 1.5V DDR3 and 1.35V Low-Voltage DDR3 memory. When mixing DIMMs of different voltages, system runs memory at 1.5V. This system supports either Registered ECC or Unbuffered ECC memory. Mixing Registered ECC and Unbuffered ECC modules is not supported within this system. Using ECC Registered DIMMs: any configuration up to 192GB can be reached using any combination of 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB Registered modules. Using ECC Unbuffered DIMMs: any configuration up to 48GB can be reached using any combination of 1B, 2B and 4GB ECC Unbuffered modules.
