Memory Comments: Modules must be ordered and installed in pairs for Dual Channel mode. 266MHz and 333MHz parts are low-profile modules for 1U servers or other low-profile applications. 333MHz DDR has a limitation of 4 ranks per channel, or 8 ranks total. 16GB maximum is acheived with four 4GB dual rank DIMMs. Installing more memory will violate the 8 rank limitation for DDR333. Intel recommends 333MHz DRAM with BGA package. 266MHz DDR: any configuration up to 24GB can be reached using any combination of 256, 512MB, 1, 2, and 4GB modules in pairs. 333MHz DDR: any configuration up to 16GB can be reached using 256, 512MB, 1, 2, and 4GB modules in pairs.
